Solomon Cherai of the Success Elementary School, Eccles has topped the National Grade Six Assessment with 530 marks, it was announced today by the Ministry of Education.
Shania Eastman placed second with 529 marks. She is also from the Success Elementary School. An earlier version of this story had incorrectly stated that the second spot was occupied by Christel Mangra.
Others in the top ten are Celine Farinha from Peter’s Hall Primary with 526, Shreya Persaud of the Academy of Excellence with 526, Isabella Hussain of the Academy of Excellence with 526, Afeefah London of Success Elementary with 525, Travis Isaacs of All Saints Primary with 525, Bhedesh Persaud of New Guyana School, 525, Reanna Mc Curchin of St Margaret’s Primary 525 and Timur Singh of St Gabriel’s Primary with 525.
