Dear Editor,
The attached picture is not of sections of the Georgetown-Mahdia/Lethem trails. It shows the wanton destruction of the paved First Avenue in Diamond Housing Scheme. This picture was taken in the precincts of Lot 20 First Avenue Section A Block X Great Diamond.
Note the edges of the road being destroyed. This will eventually result in the spread of this destruction across the width of the roadway. Deposits of mud are another spin-off of this situation. It is very inconveniencing to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
I call on the NDC Diamond/Grove and the CPHA to effect immediate measures to arrest this alarming and very undesirable situation.
