The official residence of the Prime Minister located on Main Street, Georgetown, will soon be under repair following the opening of bids yesterday at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) at the Ministry of Finance.
When the new APNU+AFC government took office, Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo told Stabroek News that the residence was not habitable.
Bids were subsequently invited by the Ministry of Public Infrastructure.
This is one of the first set of contracts tendered by the new government. The government has signalled that it will be recomposing the NPTAB.
The names of the companies and their respective bids follows.
