The Berbice Bridge Company Inc (BBCI) has donated a trophy to the Lachmansingh Primary School for its annual graduation and prize giving ceremony, after the school requested assistance.
In a press release the company said it presented the trophy for the best graduating student to the school on June 29 for the graduation ceremony held recently. BBCI said it was privileged to have had the opportunity to assist and it will continue to make donations and sponsor events that benefit the school.
The company said it has sponsored many events that benefited communities on both the eastern and western sides of the Berbice River Bridge. It has also facilitated school tours, waived toll charges for tour buses and sponsored cricket tournaments, and fulfilled other requests.
