The six teenagers vying for the Miss Guyana Talented Teen crown on July 18 showed their mettle in ballroom and freestyle dancing on Sunday last at the Pegasus Hotel where Simpli Royal hosted its Cotillion, an annual precursor to the pageant and now a much anticipated event. Candacee Nelson, 15; Bethany Garraway, 17, Gabriella Whittington, 15; Keisha Hunter, 14; Kimberly Henry, 17; and Tamara Tucker 18 dressed in brightly coloured gowns of the same style, showed how much they have learned so far when partnered by some former Mr Guyana Talented Teen contestants or by themselves, they executed perfect steps to older and contemporary music.
