The Anna Catherina Islamic Complex (ACIC) will ost a medical outreach and health fair at its grounds on August 1st.
According to a press release from the ACIC, more than ten doctors and other medical personnel will be in attendance at the event, which is expected to benefit over serve 600 persons of all religious and ethnic backgrounds.
The ACIC said services to be offered from 8AM will include “pressure testing, blood testing, diabetic testing, cholesterol testing, HIV testing, blood donation, diagnosing of medical condition[s] and dispensing of drugs.”
“Everything at this event will be free of charge,” the release said.
Additionally, healthcare companies will also be in attendance with corresponding booths to advertise their products and offer free samples for distribution to attendees.
This event, the ACIC said, is the first of many which will be had throughout Guyana.
