Leaning post, burst water main

Dear Editor,

Since the night of Saturday 4th of July, 2015, as depicted in the pictures, a GPL post is leaning dangerously, straining the wires on the post to the point of bursting. Death and injury will soon occur if the people at GPL and GWI do not do their duties. The ruptured GWI main is beneath the leaning post.

This is happening in Palmer Street, La Grange, West Bank Demerara. The ruptured main has been already reported to GWI and the leaning post to GPL, but no action has been taken to remedy the situation as yet. It is now 13:14 hrs and today is the 7th of July. I hope and pray that someone will look into this very soon and get it fixed.
