Scotiabank yesterday teamed up with the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) to provide gear for DCC players that make the national youth teams.

“We have a partnership that has now started with DCC in particular for the youth cricketers in that club. The club approached us to look at financing for particular areas in which the kids can achieve certain objectives, so this presentation is a reflection of that conversation that has started,” said Brian Hackett, manager of the bank’s Rob Street facility.
