No internet

Dear Editor,

 

We often glance the other way while receiving unacceptable levels of service we are paying for. To say I am fed up is an understatement. Since I received a glossy letter in the mail informing me that my internet service has been upgraded, not a day passes without interruption to the said service. This can last for hours. I am not going to detail the embarrassment this has caused me, since major aspects of my work depends on the internet.

I have reported the matter twice to GTT; once the foreign sounding operator gave me a reference number, and informed me that she will notify a local team and within days it should be rectified.

I am stilling waiting for that to happen, after I placed my second call today, days after the first. I guess since internet users have no other options we have to ‘bake pone’ and send messages in bottles until companies like GTT get their acts together.
