The Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) said two men’s teams will participate in the CSV Beach Continental Cup scheduled for Ecuador from July 30 to August 2.
The federation also named a men’s and women’s team for the upcoming Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) in Guyana from August 6 to 10.
Guyana are the defending IGG men’s volleyball champions.
The squads were expected to spike off their training last Saturday.
Andrea Flores, wife of GVF President John Flores along with Creston Rodney, Kapil Dev Samaroo, Ian Bagot and Luen David will overlook the IGG event.
The Inter-Guiana Games women’s squad reads: Camize Lucruz, Cassie Junior, Christena Dundas, Engine Jacobs, Roshell Dundas, Kilsgine Griffith, Akeila Brown, Shena Thomas, Rafaella Richardson and Candacy Mentore.
The IGG men’s squad reads: Leon Stuart, Marvellous Hector, Nandram Vickram, Joel Hughes, Xavier Lambert, Ravi Rampertab, Jermain Munroe, Joshua Jagmohan, Klondyke Rodney, Rick Richie, Rayon Mangru, Daymon Thomas, Lezon Khan, Stephen Veerapen, Yoganand Dhoray, Joel Cort, Samuel Fraser and Devendra Latchman.
