The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has advertised for a database manager.
With the passage of the amended anti-money laundering law, the FIU is expected to boost its operations.
In an advertisement in yesterday’s Kaieteur News, the FIU says that the main duties of the manager would include ensuring the effective performance, integrity and security of the database structure.
It listed the minimum qualifications as including a Bsc in Computer Science, information systems or a related field. It added that the position is highly confidential and requires security clearance.
Applications have to be submitted on or before July 20 to the Director of the FIU, C/O Ministry of Finance, 49 Main and Urquhart Sts.
