However, the man said that his assailant continued. He added that it seemed as though he didn’t think that the gun would go off.
Samar related that before he knew it, the gun went off and he suffered a gunshot to his neck. He stated that he made his way to another driver who was at the base and told him that he had been shot. After his co-worker confirmed that he had indeed been shot, Samar said that he was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation where he was admitted as a patient.
He further related that ‘Satan’ had accompanied him to the hospital. However, he hasn’t seen or heard from the man since.
Samar has since been discharged from the hospital. However, he says that the bullet is still lodged in the right side of his back, adding that he is expected to undergo surgery to have it removed as soon as he can.
When inquiries were made on how well he knew his assailant, the taxi driver stated that he only knows him from seeing him around the area where he works. Samar further stated that he cannot say where ‘Satan’ got the gun from but he indicated that he has intentions of pursuing police action against the man who shot him.
