Two men were admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital after being shot in Tucville last night.
While the details of the incident are not clear, Stabroek News understands that Ayodella Solomon, 32, of 13C Tucville, and Ryan Clemerson, 27, of Lot 317 Mocha Arcadia, were shot around the vicinity of the Turning Point Snackette in Tucville. According to information received, Solomon said that he was walking to his Tucville home when he stopped at the Turning Point Snackette to greet his friend when he heard a loud bang. He subsequently fell to the ground and heard several more gunshots.
While it is not clear whether Clemerson and Solomon are known to each other, Clemerson was found sometime later by the police with a gunshot wound to his thigh under a bridge and was taken to the hospital.
Both Solomon and Clemerson are currently in stable condition at the hospital.
