(CPL) The Guyana Amazon Warriors moved into 2nd place in the 2015 Hero Caribbean Premier League table with a thrilling victory over the St Lucia Zouks on their home ground at Providence.
They were indebted to a stunning performance with the ball from Sunil Narine (3-6), and though their batsmen wobbled enormously, they managed to chase down the Zouks’ 111-7 with 12 balls and 3 wickets to spare.
The Warriors finally got chance to play their first game on home turf after Wednesday’s match with the Jamaica Tallawahs was washed out, with Denesh Ramdin winning the toss and putting the Zouks into bat.
