Dear Editor,
I have noticed that there is a massive construction presently going on immediately north of the Chinese Embassy.
I think that it is the normal practice/courtesy to erect a signboard with a description of the indeed construction, the owners and the contractors. No such notice can be seen. There are about 500 squatters immediately east of the obviously planned erection. Huge piles are presently being driven. The squatters are saying that it is a Chinese project.
Is it an extension of the Chinese Embassy? If so, then it is more Chinese territory on Guyanese land.
Could someone in authority please clarify?
