The management of the local Franchise, Guyana Amazon Warriors has put in place a “ticket exchange programme” for fans who had purchased tickets for Wednesday’s rained-out game to claim tickets for the Amazon Warriors next encounter today against the St Lucia Zouks.
According to a press release, the decision was taken following the abandonment of Wednesday’s game between the Guyana Amazon Warriors and the Jamaica Tallawahs while taking into consideration the passionate support of fans for the games in Guyana and the Caribbean.
Ticket holders for the rained-out game can obtain tickets for today’s match by presenting their ticket stubs (on which their names are usually printed) and a form of identification (Passport or National Identification Card) to the Ticket Office at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara between the hours of 8.00 am and 3.00 pm today. Those who purchased tickets for the Grass Mound and do not have their stubs can obtain Grass Mound tickets for today’s game by presenting their Passport or National Identification Card, also at the Stadium’s Ticket Office, Providence.
All exchanges can only be honoured at the Providence Ticket office since it has a record of and can verify all ticket purchases.
Only persons who purchased tickets at the authorized ticketing outlets will be eligible for this exchange programme, and ticket holders must present themselves in person to transact the exchange. Complimentary tickets will not be exchanged.
