Minister of Finance Winston Jordan today announced in the National Assembly that the budget estimates would be presented on August 10th.
The budget would be for the remainder of the year 2015 and is the first for the new administration. To be included in the budget is the lowering of the Berbice Bridge toll, increase in public servants’ salaries and increase in the old age pension. These three were among the promises made by the APNU+AFC to be fulfilled in its first 100 days in office.
