The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) sponsored eight-division summer championships will take place at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) Homestretch Avenue/National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, from August 21-23.
Apart from the usual categories the Men’s Open Singles; B Class Open; C Class Open; 13 years-and-under boys; 13 years-and-under girls; 11 years-and-under boys and girls, there will also be an Open novices tournament aimed at attracting players from the Shavin Greene and Howard James’s Linden Steering Committee programme, Linden Johnson and Xenophen Goliath’s NSC/GTTA programme, the Colin France CASH programme, Ray Anderson’s Bartica programme, West Demerara’s Mooniram Persaud’s programme, Idi Lewis’s Malteenoes programme and Gibran Sarfraz’s Corriverton Teach Them Young programmes.
