Shie was in sublime form and took the chequered flag on three occasions. The daredevil was the pick of the lot in the stacked class by pushing his Toyota Starlet to the limit. In front of a fair-sized crowd, he fended off a series of challenges from Danny Persaud and his Miata and Trinidad and Tobago’s Ravi Singh to emerge the Group champion with flawless performances.

Matthew, the son of Mark Vieira was born with daredevil blood and proved it yesterday. The 17-year old powered his 675cc Triumph Daytona to two adrenaline rushing victories in the category.
