A murder suspect managed to escape from police during a confrontation at Meadow Brook Gardens, in Georgetown yesterday.
Police, in a brief statement, said the suspect is wanted for questioning over pending enquiries into an armed robbery and murder.
At about 12.45pm, during efforts to arrest the suspect, ranks had cause to discharge rounds, which accidentally damaged the window of a building in the area. No one was injured and the damage to property has been resolved with the owner of the building, police added.
