Businessman Sultan Rahaman passed away on Sunday in Orlando, Florida, according to a death announcement in today’s Stabroek News. He was 86.
Rahaman, formerly of No.78 Village, Corentyne, was the founder and Chairman of Baracara Quarries and Guyana Sawmill Inc.
He was also a founder member and Deputy President of the Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana, a former member of the Board of Directors of GGMC and a former Director of CAGI.
The death announcement said that Janaaza took place yesterday in Orlando, Florida.
