Dear Editor,
I refer to the article captioned ‘Ramjattan implores PPP to cease promoting ethnic division –says it will do no good for Guyana’ (KN, August 20). This has been said in different ways at different times by different well-meaning people. Now I have a little book in the works titled Guyana: Elections 2015: Hard Truths, Harder Challenges, and Still Harder Choices. It should have been published earlier –inexcusable laziness. Separately, I have asked a gentleman and scholar to write the Foreword. I trust that he will not find the contents too scorching.
Incidentally, it is my intention to distribute free to government, opposition, and selected members of the public.
