Five more cases of driving under the influence (DUI) on the Corentyne have led to fines of $7,500 for each of the offenders.
The size of the fine has been criticised as being of little impact on DUI offenders. The police said yesterday that Lancelot Sandy of Lot 112 No. 65 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, was stopped and tested with a breathalyzer on 2015-07-04 while driving motor cycle CG 3006 on the No. 62 Public Road, Corentyne. He was found to
