The British High Commissioner said:“I was extremely privileged to meet these 28 volunteers and to welcome them to Guyana. I have no doubt of the value of the teaching they will provide in the coming year. They are but the latest of the over 400 Project Trust volunteers who have come here since 1995. This is very much a collaborative venture with Project Trust and the Ministry of Education working closely together with Regional Education Officers and Head Teachers – all for the benefit of young people in the hinterland.”Project Trust In-Country Representative, Kala Seegopaul, said that Project Trust is grateful for the continued support of the Ministry of Education, Regional Education Officers and Head Teachers in the various Regions where Project Trust has volunteers.
