At about 0315h. today, the police say that an armed man discharged rounds at a group of men at James and Albouys Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, and escaped.
Senassie Lewis, 22 years, of East Ruimveldt, Georgetown; Jonathan De Freitas, 20 years, of Diamond Housing Scheme, EBD; Kurt Francis, 16 years, of Princes Street, Georgetown; and Jamal Bascom, 23 years, of Independence Boulevard, Georgetown; were hit.
Lewis was pronounced dead on arrival at the GPHC, while the others have been admitted.
Investigations are in progress.
