At about 1300h. yesterday, the police say that Brazilian national Jose D’Andrade, 30 years, of Bartica, was confronted by two men at Black Water, Cuyuni, and an argument ensued over the dust that was being caused by an ATV that he was driving.
During the altercation,the police say that shots were discharged at D’Andrade and he was struck to his back. He has been admitted to hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
