The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) tournaments will continue this weekend with a host of exciting matches across venues in the city.
At 9:30hrs today, in the Carib Beer T20 competition, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) and the Guyana National Industrial Corporation (GNIC) will square off at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda followed by GCC against the University of Guyana at the same venue at 13:30hrs. Tomorrow, in the same competition, Malteenoes will have the home advantage when they battle with the GDF boys from 9:30 hrs.
The New Building Society second-division, limited-overs tournament, will see Everest and Malteenoes locking horns at 11:00hrs at the Malteenoes ground while GNIC and St Stanislaus will battle at the GNIC ground.
In the final match of this competition, Police will be looking to arrest the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) boys on their home turf in Queenstown, all matches begin at 11:00hrs.
Tomorrow, Muslim Youth Organization (MYO) and Ace Warriors battle at GNIC Ground while GCC and GYO square off at Bourda, from 11:00hrs.
