One person was taken into custody yesterday morning after police found twelve kilogrammes of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
According to a police press release, around 00:10 hrs yesterday, police ranks on mobile patrol conducted a search on a motor vehicle at Ross Public Road, West Coast Berbice (WCB), during which 12 kilogrammes of marijuana were found.
A man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with investigations.
