KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Former Young West Indies batsman John Campbell stroked a half-century but discarded West Indies left-arm spinner Nikita Miller snatched a five-wicket haul as spinners dominated the opening day of the two-day Jamaica trial match here Thursday.
The 33-year-ol Miller, who last appeared for West Indies during the ICC World Cup in February, claimed five for 24 while fellow left-arm spinner Gavon Brown picked up four for 30, as Paul Palmer’s XI crashed to 159 all out at Kensington Park.

Former West Indies wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh top-scored with 47 while Andre McCarthy stroked 42.
Campbell then carved out a top score of 69 as Brandon King’s XI reached 126 for three.
The 22-year-old left-hander faced 92 balls and struck 12 fours and two sixes.
