On September 29, employees of the Berbice branch of Massy Industries re-painted pedestrian crossings in the East Canje communities of Berbice.
According to a press release from the company,
the painting was done at the pedestrian crossings located at Canje Secondary School, Cumberland Primary School and the Rose Hall Estate Primary School as a part of the company’s community project in keeping with its vision of being, “A Force for Good.”
The company extended its gratitude to the traffic ranks of the Guyana Police Force for its support and also issued a call to road users to demonstrate a higher level of road safety awareness commencing with the correct use of the pedestrian crossings.
