Diamond Fire & General Insurance Inc through Raj Singh Insurance Brokers has settled in full a claim for $70 million to RNK Investments for the fire at Robb and Camp streets.
According to a press release on Tuesday from the Brokers, the July 12 fire which destroyed two buildings owned by RNK Inv had occurred due a leaky gas line in one of the buildings.
Subsequently, Adjusters from Trinidad were able to investigate the claim which allowed for the “executed” settlement. The release added that outstanding claims are yet to be settled by GTM, Assuria and a few other insurers which Raj Singh Brokers said “we anticipate will be settled in like manner very shortly.”
