Investigations are being conducted into the circumstances surrounding the death of Nicholas Jacobus, 58 years, of Kabakaburi, Pomeroon River, whose body was recovered from the river at about 0945h. yesterday, police say.
Investigations have revealed that Jacobus had left a shop in the Pomeroon River for his home in a paddle boat during Friday. The boat alone was seen in the river the following day with the front damaged.
Jacobus’ body was found yesterday after a search had been launched. The body is at the Suddie Hospital Mortuary awaiting a PME.
