The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 2130h. on Sunday October 11, 2015, at Number 58 Public Road, Corentyne, Berbice, and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist Anthony Persaud, 20 years, of Number 58 Village, Corentyne.
Investigations have revealed that Persaud collided with a horse that was on the roadway. He suffered injuries and was taken to the Skeldon Hospital and later transferred to the GPHC where he succumbed during yesterday.
