Henry Chase and Rollan Tappin were voted in as the Guyana Futsal Association (GFA) and Guyana Beach Soccer Association (GSBA) Presidents respectively yesterday when the entities staged their elections at the office of the GFF Normalization Committee Chairman, Clinton Urling.
Chase defeated Otis James by a 7-1 margin to claim the top spot in an election orchestrated and witnessed by the GFF chairman Urling and federation general secretary Diedre Davis.
Other members of the newly elected executive were Kenrick Noel who will serve as first Vice-President, Mark Younge who will act as second Vice-President, Andrew Major who is the elected Treasurer and Rawle Adams who will serve as the Secretary.
On the other side, Tappin who hails from the mining town of Linden was elected to lead the second of the newer members of the federation.
Other members of the executive include Dwallon Farrell who will serve as the first Vice-President, Adrian Alleyne who will act in the capacity of second Vice-President and Lashaun Martindale who will be the Treasurer. Completing the executive in the capacity of Secretary was Rashauna Rollins.
