Caribbean subscribers to DirectTV will now have access to Black Entertainment Television (BET) channel as a part of its standard line-up.
According to a press release from DirecTV, the BET network, which features original programming such as “The Game,” “Being Mary Jane” and “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” was launched yesterday.
Viewers will also now be able to have access to “Scandal,” “The Wendy Williams Show,” “The Real” and modern-day classic sitcoms such as “The Parkers,” “Family Matters” and “Moesha.”
In addition, there is the programme block BET Inspiration, which features Christian programming for those subscribers who want more from a network than just movies, series and talk shows, the release added.
Earlier this year, DirecTV had added MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon and Spike TV.
Additional updates can be had from the company’s website www.directvcaribbean.com and on Facebook at DirecTV Caribbean.
