Leonora Secondary’s Mark Jeffers superb allround effort helped crush Windsor Forest Secondary by 248 runs in the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) National Secondary School Cricket League (NSSCL) sponsored by Digicel, Banks DIH Coco Cola and Rainforest Water.
First Jeffers slammed a century a knock of 126 which included 15 boundaries and four sixes and with 84 from Chukiram Outar saw Leonora to 315 all out in 30 overs.
In reply, Windsor Forest fell for 67 with Jeffers bagging 4-16 off just three overs. He was supported by Kevin Christian who took 3-13. Leonora Secondary won by 248.
At Bush Lot Ground, Bush Lost crushed Fort Wellington by 10 wickets. Sent in Fort Wellington posted 40 all out with Clinton Grant 4-9, Bikram Mohan 3-6 and Nivendra Persad 2-9 the main wicket takers.
Bush Lot Secondary raced to 43-0 in 8.2 overs.
