A funeral ceremony was held today at the Brickdam Cathedral for Guyana-born New York cop Randolph Holder who was shot in the line of duty in New York. His body was returned to Guyana earlier this week. A number of New York police officers travelled to Guyana for the service. Among those in attendance today were President David Granger and US Ambassador Perry Holloway. Following the church service, there was a procession to the Square of the Revolution where Holder had played as a child.
