Organisers of the Miss World Guyana pageant will hold a “try out” on November 14, in the city as the search commences for a smart, beautiful and confident ambassador to represent this country at the 2016 contest.
According to a press release from the board of directors and franchise holder, interested persons must complete an online application form at www.missworldguyana.gy prior to attending the “try out” at 10:00 hrs at the PS Media Building, 206 Charlotte Street (between Alexander and Camp streets).

Applicants are expected to take along gym wear, appropriate shoes (high heels) and video clips of charity work and talent piece. Those who are unable to take along the required video clip of the talent piece will be asked to do a one minute performance at the try out.
In addition to the aesthetic and intellectual requirement, contestants must demonstrate their willingness to make a difference in the lives of others and must contribute to the development of Guyana.
Reigning Miss Guyana World Lisa Punch will represent this country in the Miss World contest scheduled to be held in China in December.
