It will be a matchup of first time finalists for the fourth annual Courts Pee-Wee Under-11 football championship as Enterprise and St. Angela’s Primary recorded hard-fought semi-finals Saturday at the Thirst Park Ground.
In the battle of the giants, St. Angela’s Primary downed West Ruimveldt a 1-0 in a bruising affair. Keyon Douglas separated the two sides as he found the back of the net in the 38th minute.
Receiving the ball in the middle of the field, Douglas recorded an event leading 14th goal as his powerful right footed effort, took a slight deflection off the head of the centrehalf, wrong-footing the goalkeeper and settling into the left hand corner.
