Winston Cramer, who is accused of causing the death of a pedal cyclist due to dangerous driving, has been called on to lead a defence at his trial.
Cramer, of 162 Go Slow Avenue, Tucville, has denied the charge that he caused the death of Lennox Allicock by driving his car in a dangerous manner at Camp and Quamina streets, on April 10, 2014.
However, yesterday Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan found that a prima facie case has been made out against Cramer.
The matter was adjourned to December 8, when Cramer is expected to lead his defence.
It is alleged that Cramer failed to stop at the junction and collided with another car. As a result of the collision, Cramer’s vehicle struck Allicock, who later succumbed at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
