The RSIB-Devan Khemraj Agency, a franchise of Raj Singh Insurance Brokers (RSIB) & Risk Management Consultants Inc. was officially launched on 1 November 2015, at Rosignol, West Bank Berbice.
A press release from the insurance office reported that CEO of the RSI Group of Companies, Raj Singh in his remarks noted the significance of establishing the first insurance franchise in Guyana; assuring that it will have access to all the resources of the RSIB brand.
He also outlined the operating history of the organisation which is comprised of several insurance and investments entities formed and operating in the USA.
Manager of the new franchise Devan Khemraj provided further insight into the services his office will provide, while Pradeep Bachan, PRO of the West Berbice Chamber of Commerce said he was gratified to have a quality service provider operating within the community.
Also addressing the event was Lance Hinds, President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and Kampta Samaroo from the Office of the Commission of Insurance/ Bank of Guyana. They both congratulated Singh on his accomplishment and Hinds indicated that the GCCI was ready to provide the necessary support in order for the company to achieve its goals while Samaroo noted that the expansion of the RSIB office was an indication of progress in the industry.
Ron Robinson officiated as the master of ceremonies, while Pandit Kumar Persaud led the gathering in prayer and the vote of thanks was given by Torrica McRae, Manager of the RSIB head office in Georgetown.
