The Guyana Foundation has received a container of clothing for distribution to hinterland residents from John and Leticia Homlish, owners of one of the largest garment manufacturing establishments in the Americas.
According to a press release from the Guyana Foundation, the donation is the largest it has received to date. It said the clothing, which includes hospital scrubs, was made available to Guyana via the Homlishs’ charitable arm of their business, the Maria Milagrosa Foundation.
The items will be distributed in the near future to needy communities in the hinterland, while the scrubs will be
