Deneshwar Mahendranauth, the Assistant Superintendent who has been accused of sexually assaulting a female Constable, was yesterday charged and released on $100,000 bail by a city court.
Mahendranauth, who appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman, pleaded not guilty to the charge during an in-camera hearing.
Mahendranauth will be required to make his next court appearance on December 10.
