A taxi driver was yesterday placed on $50,000 bail by a city court after he pleaded not guilty to conspiring with others to steal a gold chain.
Quincy David, 27, of Lot 218 Laing Avenue, West Ruimveldt,
was charged with conspiring with persons unknown to steal a gold chain, valued $120,000, from Randy Albert on August 25th at Camp Street.
David, who was unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The defendant was granted $50,000 bail by Magistrate Fabayo Azore and will be required to make his next court appearance on December 8th.
