Three Lindeners were yesterday charged with stealing a total of just under $1 million in items in separate break-ins.
Carl Roberts, 35, of Linden Highway, is accused of stealing a quantity of weeding equipment, valued at $557,000 in total and the property of the Naresh Company.
Also charged was Paul Marciano, 41, of 12 Burnham Drive, Linden, who allegedly stole a quantity of clothing, jewellery and a microwave, totaling $155,000 in value, on November 20th, at Buck Hill, Wismar.
It is also alleged that Dellon Broomes, 40, of 130 Wisroc Housing Scheme, on November 21st, at Wisroc Junction, Linden, broke and entered the shop of Shemika Murray and stole a quantity of alcoholic beverages, amounting to $26,860 in value.
Broomes, is also charged with breaking and entering the home of Shonda McGregory between October 26th and November 16th, at 176 Wisroc, Linden, and stealing a quantity of household appliances, estimated at $166,000.
Marciano, Roberts and Broomes each pleaded not guilty.
Marciano was granted $50,000 bail, Roberts was granted $75,000 bail and Broomes was granted $65,000 bail by Magistrate Fabayo Azore. The three men are expected back in court on December 7th.
