At 11:30hrs, tourney giant North Ruimveldt will face off with last year’s finalist Enterprise Primary. In attack, the formidable North Ruimveldt outfit has recorded eight goals while defensively they are yet to be breached.
On the other side, Enterprise has scored three goals while they have conceded twice.
The second fixture of the time period will witness holders Stella Maris opposing West Ruimveldt Primary.
To date, the Woolford Avenue unit has claimed two wins and a loss while in attack they have found the back of the net four times. Defensively, they have conceded two goals.
On the other hand, West Ruimveldt will fancy their chances of progressing to the next round after possessing a superior record of two wins and a draw. Their attacking numbers highlight they have netted four times while defensively, they have only conceded once.
In the second round of quarterfinal fixtures from 12:15hrs, St. Stephen’s will lock horns with Tucville Primary while St. Pius will face off with South Ruimveldt. With regards to the St. Stephen’s and Tucville fixture, the former will start as the favourite due to their superior record.
The Charlestown-based unit has yet to be defeated in the event, while scoring a tourney leading 11 goals thus far. Defensively, St. Stephens have been equally impressive as they are yet to concede.
On the other side, Tucville also possess an unbeaten record but have secured two draws alongside a win. In terms of their attacking numbers, the Tucville unit has scored twice while defensively they have been breached once.
