$1m to charities

$1m to charities: P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Limited on Friday donated $1 million to ten local charitable organizations. Recipients of the donation included: Bless the Children Home, Canaan Children’s Home, Ptolemy Reid Rehab Centre, Uncle Eddie’s Home, Friends of the Archer’s Home, Dharm Shala, and David Rose School for the Handicapped, Cheshire Homes Guyana, Hauraruni Girls Home and the Bright Horizon Family. Each organization received $100,000. Noting that finances are always a challenge for such organizations throughout the year, P&P Director Bish Panday expressed the hope that the modest contribution will offer some form of assistance. Panday explained that the donation is just one of the ways in which the company reaches out to assist at the community level.
