The accused in the murder of Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC) engineer Trevor Abrams appeared before a city court yesterday where a new suspect was charged with the crime.
Rayon Paddy, 27, Orin Arthur, 27, Steven Prescott, 44 and Urri Vanwick, 26, were read a joint charge which stated that on February 27, at Little Diamond, East Bank Demerara, they murdered Abrams in pursuant of an arrangement whereby money was passed as consideration for the death of the deceased.
Paddy, Arthur and Prescott were arraigned on the murder charge in April before then chief magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
