The 3rd Annual Tree lighting and Family Festival will be held in the National Park on
Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 from 6pm.
A release from the Protected Areas Commission said that the entry fee is $200 and includes parking on the tarmac. The event will run from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The Christmas Family Festival is one of the activities planned by the Protected Areas Commission geared at encouraging family oriented activities in the urban parks, the release said. This event will feature games and entertainment for children including santa, food and drinks, ice-creams, new product sampling, Bingo and a mini craft section featuring local jewellery designers, basketry, soaps, wines etc.
In addition to this event there will be a Steel Pan Concert in the Botanical Gardens on Sunday December 20th coordinated by the National School of Music.
