Minister Henry emphasizes importance of tertiary education

The Critchlow Labour College (CLC) yesterday held its 40th convocation in the auditorium of the college. One hundred and seventy four  students completed their studies at the college. Several of them were sponsored by the Guyana Defence Force, Guyana Police Force and the Guyana Prison Service.

The Minister within the Ministry of Education, Nicolette Henry was invited to deliver the feature address at the convocation ceremony, a release from the Department of Culture, Youth and Sport said today. While commending the graduates on their achievement she recognized the sacrifices made by the students and their families.
